About Chet

His Story

Chet Lowman is a devoted student, minister, author, and speaker that lives in the mission that God has placed on his life. Growing up in Decatur, Alabama, he is the youngest of 3 brothers and currently a student at Auburn University. He grew up attending the Beltline Church of Christ, where he gave his first sermon during his senior year of high school.

Burdened for those who stand around Jesus in culture, but do not reach for him in courage, Chet uses his gifts to encourage others to authentically come into a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Inspired by the phrase relayed to him by a mentor, Chet began to write and publish his first book, Keep Getting Up: The Fight to Follow Jesus as a Young Man in a Modern World.

During his free time, Chet loves to get outdoors and spend quality time with those close to him. Whether it be fishing, or bushogging on the family farm, Chet loves to spend time out in God's creation. Also as an avid competitor, Chet loves to play any kind of sport. No matter the avenue, Chet does his best to point everyone around him to Jesus.

Ministry & Vision

Chet believes that everyone is called to be a minister and representation of God's grace and mercy. Though still young, Chet wants to see those of all ages come to know Christ and live a life carrying their own cross.
